If you're tired of starting over again and again in some new MLM program, then we have good news for you. We're willing to bet success has eluded you because you didn't have a marketing system that anyone regardless of age, skills or background could easily start duplicating.

My business associate and I have a good 20 plus years of doing MLM's and other home businesses under our belts. We know exactly what it takes to become successful in MLM. What is the answer you ask? It's called a duplicable marketing system.

Most MLM distributors do what they think is the right thing by making a "warm" list of people to sell to. These are normally people the distributor knows. This is the cause of many failures in MLM but it is what their sponsor or their company tells them to do.

New distributors are taught to approach people on their list and convince them to come to company meetings or listen in on a conference call. This couldn't be any more wrong! Using this method is a sure fire recipe for failure! Success doesn't happen this way.

The only word you as a new distributor need to think about is the word "leverage". When you try to talk to 10, 20 or more people a day by yourself, you are not leveraging your time and resources. When you have a marketing system like ours, you can be far more productive.

Another factor we deal with is that people seem to become emotionally attached to a company like it was a family member. These people seem to get into the battle of products and spend far too much time explaining why theirs is best.

Having these beliefs will not make you the money you are dreaming of. What will is a proven system. Systems work but people fail to use them. Keep that in mind when you join any business opportunity. Passive marketing systems are the best we've seen.

We know that people are hungry for money, but we also know that most people are just too lazy to do what really needs to be done. If you can tap into an almost passive way to market your business then you have a winner and people will find and join you.

Most people don't like selling and even more they don't want to be rejected or handle objections that come up. These are traits instilled into most people. So what kind of marketing can you do that is passive marketing where you don't have to deal with this?

A passive postcard marketing system is the proven method we use. We know the Internet is a great marketing tool, but many of you are reluctant to become an Internet marketer for security reasons. It's much easier and more secure to mail out a postcard.

It only takes three easy steps to real success with any business opportunity. One, you mail out the postcards. Two, you get responses asking for more info and pass it on to someone who will close the deal or make the sale for you.

Even yoda might have trouble figuring out the current market environment. In a world of falling prices, how can wealth be protected? I have some news for you. Even in a falling market, wealth can be not just preserved; it can be created. With just a few simple techniques, Ill show you how to supersize your portfolio.

The technique Im referring to happens to be popular with hedge fund managers " those stock market whizzes pulling millions of dollars a year in exchange for managing their portfolios. This technique was also responsible for the creation of many a millionaire during the 1929 stock market crash. Yet this same technique is shunned by the public, due to its intrinsic counter-intuitive nature. Still, mastery of this technique " and its a lot simpler then you may think " its essential to doing well in bear markets such as this one.

To short a stock is essentially to sell it, and then buy it at a later date. Counter-intuitive, no? In the shorting process, you borrow the stock from your broker, sell it on the open market, and when the price has fallen sufficiently, you buy it back again, and return it to your broker.

An example... In late August 2008, Ford was trading for around 4.50. If you decided to short 100 shares of ford at that point, then you would borrow 100 shares of Ford from your broker and sell them for a total of $450. In late October 2008, Ford was down to the 2.25 range. At that point, you could buy back the 100 shares you sold for $225, return the 100 shares to your broker, and all in all, you made $225. In essence, you sold high, then bought low. Its just like buying low, and selling high " it just operates in reverse. This would be a good time to re-read this paragraph, its that important.

Another way to think of shorting stocks is to own a negative number of shares... If you own 100 shares of a stock, and it goes down $10, then you lost $1000. If you own -100 shares of a stock (or your short 10 shares of a stock), and it goes down 10$ then you gain $1000. Of course, if the unthinkable happens, and the stock appreciates by 10$, then your down $1000 (What, did you think it was riskless?).

Even still, shorting stocks has risks. If you choose the one stock of 100 that is about to start trending upwards, you could lose some money on that. Different sectors of the economy may also be effected by events that cause exceptions to the everything goes down in bear markets rule. The recent auto bailout could feasibly cause industrials to go up for a while, so shorting industrials could choose to be a bad choice. The biggest risk is that the bear market turns into a bull market while your not paying attention " that could rack up losses on many positions at once.

A typical risk-management choice many professionals use is the 5% rule. When your trading stocks, dont risk more then 5% of your portfolio on any one position, and preferably less. So with the $20000 portfolio, risk no more then $1000 on a trade. This doesnt mean you cant invest more then $1000 per trade. It just means that your stop loss should be triggered before $1000 is lost. So if you short a stock at $20, and have a stop loss at $25, then you can buy up to 200 shares (far more then the actual value of your portfolio). If your time span is shorter, then you should use a smaller percentage, while if your timespan is longer then a couple months, the 5% rule could be adjusted as high as 10% (for the risk-tolerant).

The current trend in the market is down. This is the most important thing to keep in mind when deciding where youll invest your money at this point in time. When the stock market is in bear market mode, almost all stocks are moving downwards. When this happens, it doesnt make sense to buy-and-hold like the masses. A far more productive approach is to find out whats working and to use that method instead. In the context of a bear market, the easiest way to make money is to short stocks or etf's.

Mother's Day and Father's Day

It has been advertised and hyped up to the point where mom receives gifts similar to what she would receive on her birthday or Christmas.

This is also a huge shopping day for jewelry stores because this is a day in which a lot of proposals for marriage are made. It may seem a little clich, but a lot of restaurants seem to set the mood on this particular day, making it perfect for that marriage proposal.

Christmas and Black Friday

The Christmas shopping season is kicked off by Black Friday. It is that shopping day after Thanksgiving in which stores offer up door buster deals by opening their doors at 5:00 a.m. and letting the hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of people into their stores to scoop up the best deals of the season. In all reality, it is the best time of year to shop for such items as clothes, toys, and various other gift items.

Once Black Friday begins, the stores remain busy until Christmas Eve as shoppers are taking advantage of last minute deals to get their last minute shopping done. This explains why these stores have to have extended hours and why they have to have seasonal help. This is by far the busiest shopping season of the year. Does link Exchange help with SEO?

I started researching what is now known as SEO about 13 years ago. I tried over and over to build the site that I dreamed would rank at the top of Google. At the time I began the key apparently was Meta Tags. I made meta tags just like my competition, and made by key word density for the words in those tags higher. I figured that would easily put me to the top. I waited for months on sites, and I never moved at all. One thing I did find interesting is there were some reputable sites that were stuffing words in like pornography, XXX etc to try to capture free traffic on highly searched words even though their sites were not relevant to those results. Basically after nearly duplicating sites I never improved my rankings.

My next feeling was that it must have been the size of the site that had to do with the ranking. I had a problem though in that I would not be able to build large sites because there really wasn't much content on a subject. Every number one site seemed to have a ton of indexed pages. Then I cam across Traffic Booster Pro. This is a program that takes RSS feeds, randomized them and creates a ton of highly optimized pages. Within days I saw results. I was ranked number 60 for a very competitive keyword. I was so excited, I had finally figured it out. Google crawled several times a day. I had the bigger site. This program built all those pages I needed, and redirected each user to my homepage. I got a major increase in traffic for a period of time, but one day because Google crawled so much it crashed my entire data center. Then I noticed my rankings fell completely off Google. I figured once the data center was fixed and I slowed Google's crawl rate on my site my rankings would return. Big mistake, Google had penalized my site. My site doesn't even rank number 1 for the made up keyword in my domain now, all because of this program.

Then on the advice of some Gurus I decided to start a link exchange. I put code on my site on how to exchange links, and on top of that I joined Linkmarket.net to exchange links. I was able to secure a bunch of links to my site and I built a reciprocal directory with probably 400 partner sites. Guru's claimed this is how they go their rankings, but after some testing I decided to see if these Guru's have reciprocal links on their site. Guess what? They didn't. These guys weren't using reciprocal links to get those rankings. Once again I saw no results, and had proof that the Guru's pushing this also saw it as ineffective. I don't want this to be construed that links don't help. Look at the results for "click here" on Google. Adobe ranks #1 and click here is not anywhere on their site as a keyword. They just have a bunch of links with that anchor text. However, they are not exchanged links. I haven't found one site being number one on Google with exchanged links.

So to answer the question, no link exchanging does nothing for SEO. The two ways to get your sites link that are not exchanges you can share information or make link bait. The article that you are reading right now helps my rankings. I just write experiences and information that I have retained in knowledge, the distribute it to webmasters to update content on their site. This helps the webmasters by making Google visit their site often since they are constantly adding content. Best part is when they like and add my content they add a link to my site. I write articles several times a day about different things that relate to my website. This is how I get links to my site, without exchanging them. I exchange information of a one-way text link.

There are two ways. Link bait, and content sharing. Link bait is like the chicken website that Burger King built. I don't know if you ever saw it, but it was a dude dressed up in a chicken suit dancing around and crap. It ranked them number one on Google for the broadest phrase you could think of. Chicken. The drawback to link bait is you have to be extremely creative to get something built that people actually want to link to. Or you can pay an expert in this field thousands to create link bait for your site. There are better ways.

I prefer to use content sharing like this article you are reading. I publish informative articles and distribute them to directories that webmasters go to get content for their site. If people like my information they will publish my article. For instance this article will probably get published by SEO website trying to provide current advice on improving rankings. This benefits the webmaster because if they are constantly adding new content spiders will hit their site more, therefore each change will be indexed faster. That catch is that to use my content they must provide a link back to me in my resource box. This box cannot be modified. If no webmaster likes my article, it is still published in 1000s of directories that I submit to, creating great links back to my website. I do not have an outbound link on my site. I have meta tags that are almost worthless, but my 3 page site ranks very well for keywords due to content sharing.

To conclude it won't hurt to have a well coded big site, but that is not what pulls rankings. The best rankings I ever obtained are from submitting articles. I love to write the different articles and share information or knowledge I have for free. Also Google can tell that I am manually writing these because there is no duplicate information in them across the network. So they know that I am not trying to steal rankings, that I am providing legit information and a link to my site. This causes each link to have a nice weight with google. My job has become to promote my website through distributing information.

Making Money Online - Without the Hype?

Wouldn't it be interesting to know what content of a sales page is actually true, or could be true for the average person? What I've learned is that there is no quick fix or get-rich hype that is real. I bought all kinds of products, jumping from one hyped program to the next. I tried it all, but I lacked focus! The key is to focus in a particular area and stay with it. Whether PPC (pay per click) is your thing, selling you're own products, selling affiliate products or whatever ... it's important to take action and stay the course. But whatever it is, building your own list is a top priority in determining your ultimate success.

When I began my internet marketing online experience, I made the big mistake of starting with affiliate marketing building someone else's mailing list. The training material was fantastic, very detailed and comprehensive. I soon discovered that I was really building a list for someone else the was not in my control. I am quite sure I made a great positive impact on his affiliate marketing business. Wow, what a learning experience!

Internet marketers are everywhere and the "gurus" have made a ton of money, I guess! Much of it from people who lacked focus, like me, and have hopped from one supposedly hot program to the next without having much follow through on any of them. The one thing that I eventually did to help me focus and stop believing every hyped up sales page is to identify the few genuine successful internet marketers and become a student. You can find about any kind of product you're looking for online. If you have money available, you may find that paying for advertising for your product or service works for you. I have to admit I liked PPC advertising and kind of became addicted to it! But I was losing money by the truckloads, so I obviously did not have the skill or knowledge required to competently use it. You'll find all the "gurus" say the money is in the list and they're so right. In this competitive market, I truly believe that list building is critical, and the money really is in the list.

What do I mean by building a list? It's a process where you collect names and email addresses from people interested in how you can help them. Whether you have some great service, such as ways they can obtain free targeted traffic to their business, or other high value information or product to help them become successful, they will appreciate you and become loyal, if you are for real. Making money online is a business and should be treated like one. In other words, you need to provide something of value so you establish a long-term relationship with your customer.

It is my experience that list building and helping your customer's succeed is the key to succeeding and thriving online.

Bird dogs in real estate(what you need to know)

Whether you're a novice real estate investor or you've been at it for years, real estate investing is an endless series of challenges. First, you have to locate motivated sellers. Then you have to buy it right, manage it even better, and still find a way to turn a profit. To top it off, you have to try to do all these things while simultaneously juggling the myriad other details of your life while laying the groundwork to become a full-time investor.

There just isn't enough time in the day, is there? Wouldn't it be nice if profitable deals would almost magically come to you? Well, they can. By putting Bird Dogs to work for you there's more time for you to concentrate your energies on more profitable activities: negotiating with sellers, putting together winning proposals, and moving on to the next deal. In case you're not familiar with what a bird dog is - or what a bird dog does - they are basically scouts that sniff out deals for you. Their sole job is to locate properties that have motivated sellers and lay the groundwork for you to move in and close the deal. This saves you time for the really profitable aspects of real estate investing. While all bird dogs are not Realtors, Realtors have a huge advantage over non Realtor bird dogs, for obvious reasons: They have access to the local MLS, FLMS listings, they know the neighborhood, they know how long the homes are on the market, they know what buyers are looking for, they know what it will take to get it in resale condition, they have access to motivated buyers and sellers or can find them for you.

Without motivated sellers you can't put together real estate deals. The problem you have is there are only so many hours in the day for you to do everything that needs to be done. If you still have a full-time job working for someone else you have even less time available for your marketing and prospecting efforts. If you assume that marketing - of which locating motivated sellers is a critical part - takes 20%-25% of your time, you can easily see how little time that leaves for the other activities you need to be doing on an on-going basis to reach your goals. By having a bird dog or bird dogs doing these things for you it allows you to better utilize the time resources you have at your disposal.

A good bird dog isn't born: they're made. It's going to take a little effort on your part to help your bird dogs help you. The best way for you to do this is by clearly articulating to them what you need. Again, here is where Realtors can be invaluable, because you will spend less time bringing Realtors up to speed as they already have had extensive training. The good news is that there are plenty of people willing to be bird dogs. They could be friends, family members, or others you come in contact with. You can also work with novice real estate investors through your local REIA to locate properties for you. It's also relatively easy to put together larger teams of bird dogs by utilizing message boards, Craig's List, and other online resources. If all else fails you can run a newspaper ad of your own.

The main point here is that bird dogs will free up more of your time so you can do those things that have a greater probability of earning you money. Bird dogs can be the path to your real estate investing goals. The finder's fees you'll pay your bird dogs for bringing deals to you are more than offset by the value - and the wealth - they'll generate for you. Take the time to learn how to work with bird dogs in reaching your investing dreams. As you get better at working with bird dogs you'll find that you have more time and money for other pursuits - like deciding what to tell your boss when you quit your full-time job and take the plunge into full-time real estate investing.
