An Easy Way To Copy XBOX Games!

By Grant Dougan

There are a lot of you out there interested in copying Xbox games, judging by the number of questions we?ve been hearing about this lately. We?re used to making copies of audio CDs; but can you do the same with your games ? and if so, how?

We?re going to tell you how to do this easily so that you can start copying Xbox games. There is one thing that we need to tell you beforehand though.

We do not, repeat, do not encourage anyone to nor do we endorse the illegal copying of Xbox games which you do not already own. The information we?re going to give you is meant to help you make backup copies of your own games. This is legal and is in fact a very good idea, since it will make sure that you still have a copy of your games in case a disc gets damaged.

So without further ado, let?s go into how to backup your Xbox games. It?s not complicated, so you ca put your notebook away ? it?s very simple to start copying Xbox games.

You may wonder why you can?t use the same program that you use to copy music CDs to copy your Xbox games.

Basically, copying Xbox games requires technology which isn?t built into your CD burning and copying software.

Xbox game discs are encrypted to prevent copyright infringement. This means that unless you have software installed which can get around this encryption, you won?t be able to read (or copy) te data on your Xbox disc.

However, there is now software which can read these encrypted discs and let you make copies of them. When you have this software, you?ll be able to get started copying Xbox games.

When you?ve downloaded and installed this program, there?s really nothing to it. You place the game disc in your optical drive, your computer will read the disc and create a disc image; then all you have to do is to put a blank DVD-R in the drive and your computer will copy the game to disc.

It?s so easy to do that anyone can make copies of their Xbox games.

You don?t have to spend a lot of money for these programs either. The best ones available cost between $30 and $40; some companies charge more than $100, but the higher price tag doesn?t mean better software in this case.

This is an easy way to start copying Xbox games on your computer. It?s easy and you can make backup copies of all your games.
