There will be a Racine Horlick High School Flea Market on April 25, 2009. This flea market will be held at the Racine Horlick High School, 211 Rapids Dr, Racine, WI 53404. This will be a non-juried, indoor craft show and will also have a community garage sale.
For the past 6 years the Racine Horlick High School Flea Market has been held. It will officially open on April 25 from 8:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Vendors will be allowed to set up their booths from April 24 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and on April 26 from 6:30 A.M. to 8:00 A.M.
The flea market estimated anticipated attendance last year was over 1,000 visitors. The promoters are expecting about the same amount of visitors especially since it will have a free admission. The visitors and vendors will also have a free parking space.
The designated area for the visitors parking is at the school 300 parking area and additional spaces across the street. The designated parking area for the vendors will be at the single lane around the track. There will be a public restroom around within the school area.
Electricity will be provided for the vendors by the promoters for an additional fee of $10.00. The promoters will also provide tables and chairs for the vendor for a fee of $10.00 for the table and $5.00 for the chairs. Advertisement of the event will be done by posting ads at the PSA Unified school newsletter, ads in the church bulletins, area newspaper and local radio broadcasting.
About 50 craft, arts and retail vendors are what the promoters will need for this years event, the type of vendors that will showcase their unique work of art. Food vendors are not need by the promoters. For interested vendors the space fee is $25.00
