Online Mentoring Programs - Prey On Newbies

By Simon Cave

Beware of Online Business Mentors offering Internet Fortunes!

Due to the current economic conditions Online Business Mentors & Coaching program's offering "Online Fortunes", are appearing at an alarming rate.

Before you shell out your hard earned money on any such program I suggest you consider who you are talking to & why are they not following their own advice & making an Internet "Fortune" for themselves.

Many of these mentoring schemes are originated by major internet marketers, making very good money selling them. However the mentor you are likely to be working with is most often a part timer following a 1,2,3 plan.

If you have products to sell or an idea for a website, but don't have any online experience all you need is guidance on how best to develop it.

If you believe all the hype & think it is easy to make money online.

Stop right there - There is no such thing as easy money, even on the Internet.

To create & promote websites in any field you must understand;

* Market Research

* Domain Name Optimization

* How to decide on a website host

* The Type of Website you should develop to market your idea

* The preferred software to develop your choice of website

* The best way to structure your site.

* How to promote your website - Without visitors you have wasted your time.

Too much to ask? Don't be put off by the long list, once broken down by each item it is simple to follow along. However if you prefer a more guided approach you also have the option of using the design blueprints of existing e-commerce websites.

You definitely don't need Online Business Mentors to start an e-commerce business. Take your time, learn & apply each or these topics, or copy if if you prefer.
