One most beneficial thing about solar power panels and other equipments is that they demand almost zero maintenance. It is very easy to maintain solar units and equipment that are run on solar energy.

The good part is that implementing solar power gadgets is not very cumbersome because Solar panels are available very easily in most shapes and sizes. They can be affixed without much fight.

Also, with a lot of people now realizing that solar power is highly healthy for one's food cooking, a lot of people are dismissing the use of LPG gas and fuel for the food-value retaining solar cookers and systems.

Even if there is a huge initial base cost involved, ranging from $2000 to almost the $17000-18000, it can turn into a cheaper installation if you know the right contacts who can assemble the local pieces for you, you can get a local hardware store guy to do this.

But one more point is solely in favor of going green- the panels have a life of easily anything over two decades.
