Presenting The Nokia N900 In All Its Beauty

The Nokia N900 is one of the famous new smart phones. A new increase in the world of Nokia's smart phones, N900 mark its presence with other phones in the field.

Main qualities of the phone:

Appearance - The phone looks a bit chunky, but it contains a 600-MHx TI OMAP 3430 processor and ARM Cortex-A8. Even though a bit bigger in dimension, this phone does not compensate on trend. The N900 is glossy, sleek, and jet black. The keypad slides into the front panel also the camera is situated at the rear. A shutter protects this phone's Carl Zeiss camera lens. At the top, it has a lock key and 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Touchscreen - It has a 5 inch touchscreen offering a resolution of 800x480 pixels. The screen supports 16 million colors. The touchscreen is simple to use and rather reactive.

OS - The phone has the operating system Maemo 5 OS. This Linux based OS is open source and application developers and designers can add cool graphics and applications as they wish. More than one application are able to be used simultaneously. You can easily switch between applications. Applications which are currently running are displayed as small panes on the display panel. You can close applications by simply clicking a cross sign at the side of the window.

Interface User - Easy to use is the UI which is also convenient. All ions and applications are displayed in the desktop. Shortcuts can be added to social networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, and Evernote. You also have the option of customizing with widgets. Navigating the desktop is easily done with a swipe of your finger.

Online - This smart phone provides many different ways for you to connect to the Internet. For internet surfing Mozilla Firefox explorer is utilized by the telephone. To zoom in on a page, just swirl your finger in a circle or tap the page twice.

Navigation - The navigation software in this device is worth mentioning. The N900 has A-GPS, inbuilt compass and Ovi maps. If you don't prefer to use Ovi maps, you can download and store maps of your choice.

Camcorder - A five-megapixel camera comes with this phone, and it has zoom, autofocus, and all the other features you expect. All these attributes along with the excellent clarity and resolution of the screen offers you wonderful images. You will be able to edit the images as you want. Video streaming can be tried with WVGA 848x480 @ 25fps.

Media - The Nokia N900 contains a few amazing media attributes. MP3, WAV, WMA and eAAC formats are supported by the audio system, while the WMV, Real Video, MP4, AV1 and XviD formats are supported by the video system.

Microsoft Office - with this phone, users of MS Office Document Viewer allows you to view PDF documents and files.

Gaming - Nintendo SNES emulator can be downloaded onto this handset. The gaming experience is good.

Other Features - Polyphonic ring tones, calculator, calendar, organizer, to-do list, Java, handsfree, voice memo, FM radio, vibrating alert and so on.
