Supplies Can be Cheap

By Nicky Jackson

In today's world, everyone has an office. If you want to know how to save money on office supplies, this article is for you.

The local office supply specialty store actually has the best prices when they are on sale. Otherwise, go to the department store since most will carry the same items.

Even the local grocery store sells some office supplies that are inexpensive.

When sales occur, even pharmacies would have good deals on pens, paperclips and staples etc.

Large warehouses like Costco will sell them at a huge discount. Just be wary of the fact that you are buying more than you actually need.

Office supplies are usually commodities, so just go online and order away. Just pick ones that you don't need to pay shipping on and you are home free.

Shipping charges can add up, so you may make out better locally.

Specialty stores catering to craft people often have great sales on items that you need.

A pen is a pen whether you buy it at the office supply store or the local pharmacy, and no matter where you purchase it, someone will probably walk off with it just the same.

I actually reuse paper, but I also buy the cheapest paper that my printer can use without the rollers malfunctioning. Paper is paper. There's really no need to buy expensive ones.

Ink is not the same as paper. If possible, just buy the original brand because the third party brands just aren't the same in terms of quality.

Inexpensive isn't always good. Sometimes, the price is low due to a faulty part. This advice also applies to open boxed items. You never really know what you are getting.

Save those coupons because you will eventually need some kind of office supply.

Store branded office supplies might not be made with the same quality but they essentially work the same.

Even if you buy in bulk, never lay everything out in the open because employees will take them home if supplies in abundance.
