In today's market online advertising is necessary for success. Your business needs both online and offline ads to ensure growth. How will your sales grow if people dont know you exist?

So one simple way to start is to make sure you are marketing to only those that are interested in what you have to offer. Put yourself in your customers shoes, What words would you use to search for your item?

Google AdWords is a good example of pay per click advertising. Some times this type of online advertising is referred to as PPC. A link is placed on a page triggered by a keyword and you only pay for this type of advert when someone clicks through to your site.

Text link advertising is another, relatively inexpensive, way to go. It allows you to a select a keyword within the text of another website to direct people to your site.

The next method is online classifieds or classified ads. These ads differ from newspaper classifieds because they are usually free and offer massive exposure. Remember find a site with online syndication or huge traffic otherwise you wont get the traffic you want.
