SEO Services - Matthew G Adams

By Abigail G Foxe

You just need the figures for SEO. Well here, let me try and explain to make this concept a bit clearer. It's not much wonder that many people are confused about the term search engine optimization and what it means when so many companies have confuzzled the issue with fear and hype. It's not that bad if you have someone explain it in clear and easy terms without using jargon.

In simple terms people use a variety of words to search for information about websites they want to see, whether they be related to cars or horses, and the keywords they use to find these sites are what are used in search engine optimization.

You'd want to use certain keywords that others search for to find products or services related to your site and include those words in your site's copy. It's a touch more complex than this since it sometimes involves various formulas, but that's it in a nutshell. It isn't that bad right? Once you have the word or words to use in your site content, you can start tweaking the copy to feed to search engine spiders. Give it a go on your own to see what it's like.

Choose any word you want to search the Internet, say flash drives, and then wait and see what comes back on your search. Keeping a site fresh and exciting is why the page you may find in number one spot on Google is so popular. Some schools of thought say it's only necessary to change web content once a week. If you want your website to perform well, you might want to change content more often.

It takes work on your part to make the number one page spot in Google or other search engine sites. You'd be using proper keywords that rank highly in terms of searchability, otherwise called key word effectiveness index, and properly written website content.

Make it a point to use the keywords with the highest rankings at the top of your site content. This brings up the percentages game that many people feel is necessary for copy to be searched. Let's just say there is a difference between being properly keyword dense and being dense - meaning that if the keyword(s) are over done throughout the article (say 12% for a less than 500 word article) that it will begin to look and sound more like spam than properly search engine optimized copy.
