This recently concluded job fest brought a lot of interesting observations in the limelight. The fests central aim has been to bring out the job seeking youth in United States of America, in direct contact with employers across various domains, all under one roof. The main goal was to sniff out apt jobs for people still on the hunt for a job that meets their aptitude.
Generally, whenever a state participates in arranging such an event, it is done to identifying and matching job needs and people seeking those jobs. But another major objective behind them is earning of revenue, revenue that gives a further impetus to employment as a goal.
The fest was really different from the earlier ones. In the past, all state fests in this region have focused on creating opportunities for all run-off-the-mill professions like Doctors, Engineers, chartered accountants, business analysts, auditors, lawyers, etc. But no one has really touched Home Improvement related jobs as such in the gone times. And this times fest stands to be an exception this time.
The first day carried out demonstrations for professionals like Interior designers and Architects. These demonstrations were held to let the audience know of the impending business potential these domains are offering nowadays.
The second day was dedicated on plumbing expertise. The whole show worked towards bringing plumbing parts trading/manufacturing to light as a feasible career choice. The next lot of this workshop focused on creating a scope for plumbing advisory, plumbings help that can be reached at within minimal time and cost.
After the local plumbers had given a brief presentation, the audiences were truly assured of the fact that even a seemingly tough and boring job like plumbing can be made to be taken up as a possible and viable option.
The good thing is that such initiatives lead to enhanced popularity and acceptability of such unconventional professions. For jobs that were thought of to be not very great, nowadays those very jobs are being given a serious try.
And most importantly, the workshop has helped in catching a lot of registrations for upcoming plumbing schools in that region. This shows the kind of impact this fest has been able to create for Home Improvement.
