How To Create Backup Copies of Xbox 360 Games

By Jay Wilson

Visit any game shop and you will find Xbox 360 games are quite expensive. The biggest buyers of the Xbox games are kids and teenagers and so it becomes difficult for them to purchase these games at those high prices. It is advisable, therefore, to create backup copies of these games because a disc does not really have a long life and can be easily scratched which means having to buy it again.

Most games you buy have copy protection software embedded onto the disc, but people have founds ways of getting round this in order to make backup copies. this involves the use of Xbox 360 software copying programs. It normally requires four simple steps.

Do a search online and read a few reviews and articles about the different Xbox 360 game copying software programs available. Select one and download and install it onto your computer.

The next step is to place the original disc in the CD or DVD drive of the computer and initiate the copying program on your computer to start working. This program will read the disc you placed in the drive and will ask where you want to save it to. After selecting the location just save the game. This can take a little time if the disc contains a lot of data. After the game is saved on the computer it can now be burned onto a blank disc. You can choose to create as many copies as you like.

This is by far the most practical and easy way of saving money as you will not need to keep buying those games again and again. Just the initial expense will help you make as many copies as you need. Game copying software is also a more sensible way than installing mod chips inside your console, which can be quite complicated. This is a much easier and hassle free way.

Backing up Xbox 360 Games and copying is e relatively straight forward task if you use the correct game copying software. Now you do not have to lose your favorite games, you can simply backup your games without a mod chip.

The games manufacturer's encrypt each and every disc to stop them being copied or backed-up the conventional way. I guess this is to stop them being illegally mass produced.

However, there are certain software programs, as you have mentioned, that will allow you to legally backup Xbox 360 games.
