Wordpress is a very powerful content management system because it takes most of the coding out of your hands and does it all behind the scenes all while enabling you to simple 'point and click' until you get what you want.
Wordpress themes are wildly popular and there thousands of both free and premium themes you can buy out there. These themes can change the design of your site immediately and offer a cheapo solution to many businesses needs. A benefit of using Wordpress is having such a diverse set of themes to choose from to make your site look really good.
Wordpress has a built in text editor that allows you to compose your blog posts or the content of your pages right within the Wordpress dashboard so that makes it extremely convenient to work with. You don't have to cut and paste from Word or any other text editor. It has nearly all the functionality of the premium text editors too so you're not missing out on anything.
Media is always important to have in any legitimate website and Wordpress makes it easy to work with. With the click of the mouse you can easily upload all the great pictures and video from your latest family reunion to share with your family friends on your website.
There is a "links" tab as included on the WP dashboard as well that allows you to plug in links to your other sites, authority sites or related resource website to further enhance your visitors experience on your website.
A great feature included on the WP dashboard is the comments tab. The tools and settings included in this tab gives you the power to turn on or off comments on your articles and if they're then you can choose to have them moderated to that nothing gets published that you don't approve yourself.
