I always get the question is there a such thing as a home typing job? Sometimes I read forums where people say these don't exist. I am here to give you a fact, there are home typing jobs. They aren't hard to get and you don't need a lot of experience to land one.

Yes these jobs are out there. Law firms and medical places always have postings for help. Especially if they are short staffed. Search on the internet, if you look hard enough you can find these jobs. Usually all you need is to find the place, some typing skill, and transcription software that you can find for free.

The jobs are not hard to get, you just need to be able to type. Most companies will require you pass a typing and transcription test. Once you get this done you are on your way to working. They don't charge you to join or anything. You can simply sit at home download the audio file, type it and send it back for payment.

How much experience do you need? Well you dont really need a lot of experience. Most of these companies will hire you as long as you can pass a typing test. I found the hardest part of these types of jobs are understanding the transcriptions that you have to type. Some of them are not very clear. If you do find a good place to work for though, you will be able to complete the job.

So for the conclusion you need to be told that these jobs are really out there. You shouldn't have to pay to get them, and if you look long and hard you should find them yourself.

Is 'My Story Marketing' Effective?

Perhaps you have heard all the buzz lately about the term 'My Story Marketing'. Many want to know what it is and whether it can possibly help their business. We all have our own personal story and for some of us it could be a very compelling one at that. However, if no one ever hears our story, then it will definitely not have any impact on our business.

An excellent phrase to use is "all that changed when...." It is as this stage when you explain your business opportunity and how it dramatically turned your life around.

You are now at the final stage of 'My Story Marketing' and that is the call to action. At this crucial time many people shy away from coming right out and asking for what they want. People can only say 'yes' or 'no', so we actually have a 50% chance of getting what we want by asking for it. We should be asking the person to click on the link to our website and enter in their name and e-mail so that they can receive the necessary information that is going to help them out of their difficulties. One word of caution here, make sure you comply with the regulations of the social media site regarding the manner in which you show your website address.

This is not a get-rich-quick scheme but if done right it can certainly create riches. Remember, you are in the business of building relationships with people who will trust, respect and like you. This does not happen overnight. Let me tell you about a friend of mine. AdWords Advertising Explained

AdWords advertising campaigns are built around short, carefully worded advertisements. Although they may be limited in size advertising of this type can be very successful in attracting the attention of potential customers who will follow the adverts through to your website.

Two methods exist and they depend on where you are going to place your advertisement. During the set up process of the AdWords campaign you will be given a couple of options and you can decide to place your ad on the search or content network (Adsense) or you can place it on both networks.

Search network advertisements are assigned many keywords that would match the text of the advertisement and that is an excellent method for getting searches to locate your product or service.

Alternatively, using the content network, your advertisement will be placed alongside an article with content relating to your advertisement. In this case it is read by users who may not necessarily be interested in actually purchasing any product or service, and, put another way, are browsers rather than searchers.

The effectiveness and performance of search advertisements far exceed that of contextual advertisements. In order to drive more traffic to your website, though, you could target both networks (in effect 'broadening your net') by selecting the search network check box for one and the content network check box for the other.

Contextual adverts have their advantages despite the fact that they may not give as many advantages as a search based advert. Your cost per hit is a lot lower and you'll have a little more flexibility in where your adverts land.

If you have an AdWords search advert created but yet want to try the content network you could consider starting up a different advertisement series pointed at the content market. Content networks have a more passive audience so simply just copying over your search network campaign will not suffice, you'll need to complete retool it to make it work.

In the final analysis a well run search network campaign is usually the most effective way to generate business but with a little ingenuity and well written copy there is no reason why this could not be supported by a parallel campaign on the content network.

Above all else, co-registration, and building the email list from scratch on your own, is truly the best and safest method of ensuring that you have a targeted email marketing campaign.

How To Increase Conversions With Google Adwords Campaigns

5. Do not type 'www' in your URL link. Reserve those extra characters for the extension of your website. However, for you to close a sale, you have to ensure that the link goes to a valid landing page or sales page.

6. Write your ad using the headline style. Capitalize the first letters throughout the ad for readability purposes. As you may well know, the headline is among the most important parts of your ad since it is usually the first thing read by visitors. In the same way, you create visual appeal and render your ad more professional by using capital letters on the ad copy.

ISO 14001 - Environmental forms

Do you control your forms within your ISO 14001 environmental management system? If you do - great, if not - consider it! One of the divisive topics with interpretation of ISO 14001:2004 and other standards is control of forms. Various organizations treat forms differently than other EMS documents and do not control them.

Per ISO 14001:2004, clause 4.4.5, Control of documents, "Documents required by the environmental management system and by this International Standard shall be controlled." Let's see if a form qualifies to be a "document" that "shall be controlled".

Organizations use forms and tables within their environmental, quality, H&S and other management systems. Often, instead of preparing a traditional instruction or a procedure with all the sections, such as scope, purpose and process description, a simple form can provide this information. Frequently registrars issue companies non-conformities for their not controlled forms of their EMS.

Often, being asked about not controlled forms, my clients reply: "We do not control forms, why?" I always wonder why a table form should be treated differently than any other instruction or a procedure. If a form is not controlled, how would we know that we need it for our EMS? If it is not controlled, it cannot be referenced within one's management system. If your forms are not controlled, how would you know that you use the latest revision of it? I guess all these questions lead us to a point where we should consider controlled forms! Let's see is a form qualifies to be a real document. A short test will help answer this question.

1 - prepare 2-column table

2 - note your organization's name in the first column

3 - enter your company's URL into the second column

There is no doubt; most of us would call this three-line direction a procedure or an instruction. So, if this is an instruction, it shall be controlled per ISO 14001 Standard.

Now, let's imagine that we were given a two-column form, only being asked to complete it. The first column title was "You company name" and the second column "Company's Website". Needless to say that following this procedure we would enter our company name and our Website address in the table. It means that we interpreted the table as an "instruction".

If we concur that the first three-line instruction written in English was a "real" instruction that "shall" be controlled, the other, empty form, resulting in the same output, must also be an instruction! Shouldn't this type of an instruction be controlled also? I believe it should!

It seams to me that misunderstanding concerning blank tables and forms is because forms serve two purposes. Blank forms are short directions written in tabular language, but when a form is completed, it becomes a record. Procedures and other documents are controlled differently than records. Let's realize this difference and treat not completed forms as any other procedure or instruction controlled by our documentation management procedure. If you want to have a not controlled form with in your EMS, consider answering three questions:

- If you created a form for ISO 14001:2004 EMS and found it was changed, would you like to know who did it and why?

- If you revised one of your ISO 14001 forms, would you like your users use the latest revision?

- If you are in Brazil on a business trip, would you like other employees to know where to find your form in your EMS?

If you answered, "yes" at least once, your form is a definite candidate for being a part of your formal ISO 14001 documentation management system.

I recently sold my truck on stumblehere.com. I was very surprised by this, thinking that since this was not a name of a website that I was familiar with. I was scared that I was wasting my effort. Well I will be the first to tell you how wrong I was.

LJ James talks about The FX Show "Sons Of Anarchy"

I have just finished reviewing the 2nd episode of the brand new FX show "Son's of Anarchy". I have been a a big fan of another FX Show "The Shield" for years and I have to say, I have enjoyed "Sons of Anarchy" so far. The show has awesome bikes and ton's of action!

As a Member of an Outlaw Motorcycle Club, I can see many mistakes already in the show. One thing that really surprised me is how people have reacted to the show and me personally. People who know I'm a member of a Motorcycle Club are asking me, "You guys aren't really like that, are you?" Most of these people have known me for years! Now after a couple of episodes of "Sons of Anarchy" their wondering if I'm leading some kind of double life.

Can you imagine if a show about criminal killer Florists came out? How many people would ask the local florist if they where really like that? One fact of life about being a Biker I have come to except is, it's real easy for people to think of Bikers as the bad guys. It's always been that way. I wonder how many Cops had people ask them the same question when the Shield came out? I also wonder how many Police Officers who watch the Shield and know that show is fiction will watch "Sons of Anarchy" and think that's how Motorcycle Clubs really are! The show "Sons of Anarchy" is fiction and it is way over the top.

Son's of Anarchy is going to shine a bright light into the Motorcycle Club world. Where as the last ten years have been all about Custom Motorcycle Builders and has led to a lot of people getting into Motorcycle Riding, I believe the next ten years will be all about Motorcycle Clubs. Now this show could be a great thing for Motorcycle Clubs if, in-between all the fictional action, it also focuses on the bond of Brotherhood Motorcycle Clubs are really based on.

Although there is opportunity for "Sons of Anarchy" to make a positive statement about Motorcycle Clubs, I have a feeling the show will have a negative impact on Clubs, Independent Bikers, and the Motorcycle Community in general. By highlighting the good Motorcycle Clubs do and the positive impact that they have on their communities, I don't think that is the way the program is going.

All Motorcycle Clubs are going to need to keep their eyes wide open and watch any new prospects. MCs need to make sure that new prospects are there for the Brotherhood and betterment of the Club and the community, not to live out some misguided fantasy they may have seen on TV or in some Movie. Another big concern of mine is people who will just go out and throw on a set of patches and think they are the "Sons of Anarchy". The Motorcycle Club world is all about Respect and there is a serious protocol that is followed by all Clubs. I would not recommend violating that protocol in any way.

Motorcycle Clubs have spent the better part of the past 20 years working hard to shake the old biker gang stereotype of the 60's and 70's. Now that we have come close to accomplishing our goal, shows like "Sons of Anarchy" and the upcoming HBO show 1% are here to drag our image back into the gang world. How far will these shows set us back? 20-30 Years? I would ask the producers of these shows, there sponsors, and everyone else out there to please remember that Brotherhood is what the Motorcycle Club world is truly about.

Outsourced Medical Billing must pursue underpayments

Seven to over ten percent of your practice's revenue is being lost if your medical billing service is not systematically comparing your insurance payments to the amounts allowed in your payer contracts. Any competent medical insurance billing service should offer this feature as part of their standard service.

If you make the decision to outsource medical billing or are currently outsourcing, then there are a number of critical tasks and process steps that your medical billing service should provide. These include scrubbing claims before they are submitted, systematic follow-up on submitted claims, posting denials, pursuing underpayments, using patient expected payment scores just to name a few.

This article focuses on just one of the key elements you need from your medical billing service: pursuit of underpayments. Pursuit of underpayments starts with a critical step: comparison of EOBs to your contractual allowables (the payment your payers have agreed to make for each CPT code). You cannot count on payment posters to catch underpayments with their naked eye; the comparison must be automated and systematic. It goes without saying that if you do billing in-house the comparison still should be done.

Payers have adopted underpayment techniques that are too difficult for a payment poster to spot on their own. Medical billing companies can design their process to battle payers underpayment techniques because they have an advantage over individual practices - they see EOBs for a given payer across multiple practices and multiple states. The enhanced scope allows medical billing companies that pay attention to identify patterns that might be overlooked by individual medical practices.

A pattern that is often seen by billing companies is one where a payer will underpay the same codes across multiple providers by the same dollar amount in month one. Then in month two, the payer will resume paying the code correctly and will begin to underpay a different code (or codes) across multiple clients.

These underpayments are not huge (5 to 10 percent) but they add up quickly to big dollars for a medical practice. The combination of switching the codes being underpaid from month-to-month and keeping the underpayment amount "under the radar" can make the underpayments difficult for an individual practice to spot.

The pattern outlined above is why it is critical that a strategy for pursuing underpayments is not based upon payment posters picking up on the underpayments. Most payment posters will notice a large underpayment, but it is too much to expect them to spot a $5 underpayment.

What does all of this mean to your top line? A medical insurance billing service that properly implements the pursuit of underpayments can increase your revenue by between 5 and 10 percent - and this is pure profit.

After the underpayment has been noticed it must be relentlessly pursued - this is what actually leads to top line improvement for your practice. Even the small underpayments cannot be ignored - to do so will invite larger and more frequent underpayments. Payers are constantly testing their boundaries. If they see that you respond at the first sign of stepping across the boundary they will quickly fall in line and pursue less vigilant targets.

Many Roads It is also important to examine as many roads to your site as possible. Find blogs where your clients hang out. Write articles and publish them on the web. There are hundreds of sites that will publish you articles for free. For a nominal fee some sites will push your article out to thousands of other sites looking for content, Isnare.com is a good example. This is great from three perspectives. One, you will get a tremendous amount of links back to your site. Secondly, this will lead to increase traffic and thirdly writing articles will help establish you as an expert in your field. There are newsletters, co-registration, affiliate marketing. The key is to research these and see what will work for you.

Hire or not to Hire outside help

You might need help if:

1.Your clients and customers are not able to find you on the search engines. 2.You do not know why your competitors are in the top ten search results and you are on page 10,001! 3.You can not keep up with the changing technologies and even the changes in the market. 3.You do not have the time to take away from what you do best, running your business!

If you do need help, do your home work.

1.Get references and call them. 2.Get specifics about how they have helped their clients. 3.Find out how many clients they have and how many your account manager will handle. 4.Get a specific action calendar. Know what they are going to do and when it will be complete. 5.Make sure they understand your products, services and goals. 6.Do not be afraid to get another company to "audit" their work.

Finally This is serious business and one can loose a lot of money and time very quickly if you do not do it correctly. The bottom line is, if your customers cannot find you, they will find someone else. If you do not have someone in house with a passion to help grow your business. Find someone who knows what is important to the search engines and will not get you banned.
